Accessibility
Accessibility statement for the website of Boutique Hotel Munich.
Statement on digital accessibility
Amalienburg GmbH operates the website boutiquehotel-muenchen.de. We aim to make it usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement applies to the website and is intended to meet the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) as amended.
Legal basis and standard
The benchmark is the European standard EN 301 549 in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. The website is reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.
Conformance status
This website is partially compliant with the requirements mentioned. The content listed below is not accessible, or only accessible to a limited extent.
Content that is not accessible
- External services: The online booking system, route links to Google Maps and Apple Maps, the WhatsApp link and links to social media are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for their accessibility. As an alternative, bookings and information are available by phone and email.
- Documents: Older PDF documents are not in every case accessible. On request we provide information in an accessible format.
- Images: Some photographs have general rather than detailed text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Disproportionate burden
Adapting the external services and older documents mentioned would currently impose a disproportionate burden on us, or lies outside our control. We review these points on an ongoing basis and will remedy them once this is economically reasonable.
Measures implemented
- Full keyboard operation, including the menu, accordion elements and buttons, with a visible focus indicator
- Semantic structure with heading levels, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and descriptive link texts
- High colour contrast for text, buttons and navigation
- Text size adjustable via the browser without content being cut off
- Responsive layout that remains usable at high magnification and on small screens
- No automatic hyphenation
- Animations reduced when „reduce motion“ is enabled in the operating system
- Accessibility menu to adjust text size, contrast and motion directly on the website
- Language declared in the document so that screen readers pronounce content correctly
